Our Thoughts
God will not share His glory with anything or anybody else. He alone is God. He was before time began; in fact, He created time and put us in it. That’s why this song doesn’t say, ‘Take THE glory’ but rather, ‘Take YOUR glory’ because it all belongs to Him. When we seek HIM and become more like Him, a bit of His glory reflects on us the way the Sun reflects on the moon. The moon has no light of its own and likewise, we have no glory of our own.
