Our Thoughts
As human beings, we think so highly of ourselves (as the highest of God’s living creatures). Yet we fail to remember that we are still His created beings created for His pleasure. A life that is following after Christ is really a life that is all about Christ. It is the pride of life that makes us want to be seen of men and praised by them when as representatives of Christ, it is really He that should be seen in us – our words and actions.
Our highest desire should be that He be glorified in and through us. If that is the underlying motivation in all we do, rather than the glorifying of self, we will do things differently and God will find our ‘doings’ as an acceptable offering to Him.
It all begins on the inside where God looks.
