Our Thoughts
One of the remarkable things about our awesome God is the prefix ‘omni’. He is omniscient – all knowing; omnipresent – all present (or present everywhere at the same time); and omnipotent – all powerful. Yet, one of the most beautiful truths is that despite being all to all, He is also very personal with each and every person on Earth. Yes, Jesus died for all of mankind but He had you and I specifically in His mind, too.
Sometimes, when we catch a glimpse of the depth of His love, it can feel like we are the most special people to Him; like He thought of us ‘above all’. But what it is really is that He is in love with each and every one of us and calls us to Himself having made a bridge between the Father and us in the Person of Jesus Christ.
So let’s rejoice in this personal love that sees us and hears us in the midst of the millions of other people on this planet. What an awesome Love.
