Our Thoughts
It is my thinking that most of us would cease from a lot of our struggles should we truly accept the truth that we belong to God completely – body, soul and spirit.
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.“ (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NLT)
The very breath we breathe that keeps us alive is a gift from God. We have every reason to surrender our will to Him and accept His will for us (that’s where we cease from struggling and enter His rest), knowing that He (the Potter) made us (clay vessels) with definite plans for our lives – plans that are good and not evil but ultimately working for His glory, not ours.
So let’s turn it all over to Him – our personal ambitions/dreams/plans and let Christ in us work out His own wonderful plans for us.
